A LITTLE ABOUT US
Stilts Backpackers is an Asian inspired concept of treehouse living. Everything here is rustic, eco and high up in the trees. Nestled in an eight acre wildlife sanctuary you can expect to spot our local animal species. There are five tree houses and two ground cottages to sleep in. Stilts Backpackers is budget friendly accommodation in the heart of Diani. Established in 2004 it aimed at putting Diani beach on the circuit for backpackers to Kenya. Although we could be categorised as a hostel the feel you will get here will be quite different!
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE LOCATION
Forty Thieves Beach Bar is where the late night partying continues and we are right across from it. We start off the sessions at our famous Stilton pub and then move down to 40s. We would even recommend chilling out here during the day to enjoy the beautiful Diani Beach. Our closest shopping center is only a couple of minutes walk away where you can practically get everything you need.
This is where you check in,eat, drink and meet fellow globe trotters. Set high up in the trees the atmosphere is super chilled. Every evening we feed the bush babies. Backpackers can grab banana pieces off the plate and feed them with their hands. If you fancy lazing on our funzi day beds during the day feel free to grab a book off our book shelf.
